W ... is for Wisconsin.
We took a weekend trip. Given to us by Amazing daughter and her husband for Christmas. Not only did they give us a weekend away but they got us tickets to see "The House on the Rock". All 3 tours! Thanks guys! Hugs.

The house was amazing. Built by Alex Jordan Jr. What was unexpected for me ... He was a collector and boy did he have a collection! It took us 6 hours, from start to finish. Before leaving, I just had to buy his autobiography, to see what made him tick.
Here are a few of the pictures that I took along the way ....
Infinity Room
I was brave ... I slowly walked out to the end ...
... looked down through this window in the floor, took the fastest picture ever, and almost ran back to firmer ground! (We are looking down at tree tops people!)
This was, probably, the largest area in the house. Lots of small spaces, winding around through the circular home. Playing "hide and seek" would be a child's dream in this house!
You can't tell this in these pictures, but ... the ceilings were super low. The strange thing about this? The man who built the home was 6' 2" and was a robust man. How he maneuvered around in his own home is beyond me! I am not quite 5' 5 and I had to duck once. What is up with that?!
One of the outside gardens ...
I LOVE all the colors in this garden. So serene here too! I was happy to be out in an open area. There was so much more to see but, I will have to break them up in segments, if it is something that you are interested in seeing. This man collected so much stuff! 6 hours worth of stuff :)
Happy Thursday,
"The alphabet is almost over"

That's the craziest thing I've ever seen.
