C ... is for Construction
Construction ... Crazy word for a girl, huh?! There are only a handful of women that I know that love to pick up skill saws, nail guns, and love to frame and build. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! I still see the bias when Mr. Man is with me at Home Depot, Lowes, Menards ... where ever we are. They automatically talk to the "man". He does let them know that I am the one they need to talk to. :)
Just for the record, Mr Man is amazing in his own right. He has a talent and interest in fixing things. We are each in charge of whatever project we have taken on. When it is his ... he takes the lead or does it on his own. The same for me. I am a builder. From scratch! I have finished a couple of basements, built a 20X18 foot deck, the infamous playhouse under the stairs, and am now onto a new project that will be unveiled later.

I love the idea of DIY, but many times I'd just prefer to have it done :) But there's such a feeling of satisfaction with completing a project on your own.
