Upcycled for "Free"

I was doing laundry for the umpteenth time when, once again, there was change from out of Mr Man's pockets. I always think of it as a "Tip" and it makes me smile. Yes, I keep the change. Where could I put the change besides just putting it on the washer and be decorative at the same time?

Want to peek into my thought process? Don't get scared now! :)

I need a jar. I have a few of those ... and I need letters. Raised white letters.

I chose a sleeker style jar that used to hold Bath and Body bath crystals. I removed the labels and added the letters.

Ummm, cute but it feels like it is missing something .... I know! Twine around the neck of the bottle ...

Better ... but still not the look that I am going for. The letters don't go with the feel that I want. Do you see the swirl stencil in the background? Back to my letter box to see what other letters I like better.

Much better! I love it ... and it was FREE. You gotta love FREE! So there you have it ... something that will be functional, cute, and free!

Ok, you can be honest ... what do you think?

Hugs,

  1. I "honestly" need to start checking my pockets! (By the way, have you seen my bluetooth headset for my phone? You may also need an "accessories" jar) - Mr. Man

  2. I'm thinking the jar should have a disclaimer. "Copper coins only. Please return all silver to rightful owner". - Mr. Man
