What do I want my blog to be when it grows up?

Some days I feel like Pooh Bear ... Think, think, think! It is what I tell myself to stay focused. Does it help? Sometimes :)

When I think about what I want my blog to be when it grows up, I panic! I mean yikes! I have only been blogging since October of 2011. That is like asking a 4 month old, "What do you want to be when you grow up"?

(Me at 3)

I do have some long term goals ....

1. I want to be a place others come to get and share ideas. Where we chat and laugh and throw around ideas to inspire others. And then share them in pictures. Whether it was a success or a "do over". {Like this} Stuff happens. Life happens. What keeps us all together is sharing and caring!

See? Me laughing and sharing with you! Yup, that is me too.

2. I want to learn more. How can I take a better picture to post? How can I make this blog my own and unique to what others are doing? How can I keep a pulse on social media and have enough time to do what I really want to do? I think sometimes I push myself into too many new areas at once and then become Frustrated, with a capital F! I talked about it in "this post" I am learning ...

Yesterday, I took this picture and it is original (no alterations to it except a slight blur at the edge. oh yeah, and my name. I am working on the picture taking!)

3. I really do want to move my blog over to Wordpress. Not because every one else is doing it but because I find that it has more of the look that I am looking for. (I will have to pay dearly with my time. I know that.) I think if I plan out how much time each day I am willing to dedicate to it and stick to that time frame I will be moving forward. That is what life is all about. Moving forward!

Still me :)

4.  I want to  connect with you and other bloggers on social media sites that I understand :)  Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Linky Followers ... I want to learn how to use these, to see how I can best use these tools and decide if they are for me.

5. I want most of all, to share my hobby. What I love most to do. Build, talk, create, talk, decorate, talk ...

*** When I was younger and going to a private school in California ... I was a bit of a talker (in class). It was not uncommon for me to be sent home at the end of the day, to write sentences to have ready before school the next day. One night I had to write 1,000 times .... "I will not talk in class and disturb others". That was the last time I talked out loud in class!!!

Everyday that I hear from you and we connect is so special to me! I look forward, everyday, to hear how you all are doing and how you are growing too.

  4. I think about switching to Wordpress sometimes too. I even bought my own domain name just in case - that was almost 6 months ago and I haven't done anything yet!!

    1. Robin,
You are a sweetie. Back in the day ... that hair style was THE thing. Funny how when we are younger we try to conform and then when we are older we strive to be different! :)
